This is one of my newer paintings where the gracefulness of the figure was the focus while placing it within an abstract yet integrated background. This figure is truly animated , feminine and alive. And the background has so much going on that suggestions of other objects and a possible space has been successfully achieved. I feel I was abe to accomplish both these aspects with a much more daring use of color and paint.
