The Breakfast Table

I had been on bed rest during a portion of my pregnancy with my son Luke. The simple pleasure of sitting at my breakfast table was something I yearned for. This was the first painting I created as soon as I was up and about. The predominant yellow color was a result of a beautiful bouquet of yellow flowers given to me during this time.
